Situated on Victoria Road, this residence is full of Victorian charm and offers multi-occupancy living. The second floor consists of 14 en-suite bedrooms and communal kitchens. The third and fourth floors have a similar set up to the second floor. Each offer sixteen bedrooms, this time with communal bathrooms, kitchens and living areas.
The attic floor houses and eight-bedroom flat with communal bathrooms and a kitchen area. Merry Halls also houses three four-bedroom flats, and one two-bedroom flat. Residents are a three-minute walk from campus and the city centre, meaning everything you need is on your doorstep.

Kitchen
Merry Halls offers a fully equipped kitchen (and in some cases 2 kitchens) which contain up to 2 fridge-freezers and a dishwasher ( both depending on location), a hob and oven, a sink area and plenty of cupboard space for each flatmate.
We also provide a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, pots and pans and trivets (for putting your hot pans on).
Laundry
Our laundry room is located in the attic of number 14 Merry Halls, next to the caretaker’s office. There are 2 washing machines and 1 dryer which are owned and operated by Circuit Laundry.
These are coin operated machines which costs £2.50 for a wash and £1.50 for a dry. You have to supply your own washing powder.
